Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Many research indicated that adolescents’ residential centers have the high possibility to diagnose with psychological disorders. Therefore, the aim of this study was investigated the mental health, happiness and emotion control among adolescents’ residential centers of state welfare organization.Materials and Methods: This research is a causal –comparative research. The 80 adolescents’ residential centers were chosen through available sampling and 80 adolescents of schools of Alborz city were selected through cluster method. Statistical analysis was conducted by using the independent t-test. The research instruments were Emotion Control Questionnaire (ECQ), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ, Goldenberg), and Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI).Results: The significantly different was observed in mental health, happiness and emotion control between two adolescents groups (p<0.05).Conclusion: The results indicate that the INSTITUTIONAL-reared decrease the level of mental health, happiness and emotion control in adolescents. Thus, counselors should be considered these factors in therapeutic intervention to enhancing the mental health of adolescents’ residential centers.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Many research indicated that children residential centers have the high possibility to diagnose with psychological disorders. Therefore, this study aims to predict social skill based on their attachment style and emotional intelligence undertaken to examine the role of intervention among children residential centers of state welfare organization. Materials and Methods: This research is a descriptive study. The 400 (240 boys & 160 girls) children residential centers were chosen through cluster sampling method of Tehran city. The survey questionnaire instruments were; social skills (Gresham & Elyot, 1991), emotional intelligence (Schutte, 1997) and attachment style (Ronaghi & colleagues, 1392). The data obtained from the structural equation modeling (SEM) were analyzed by using the LISERAL software.Results: Results show that attachment style directly & indirectly lead to social skill through the mediation variable of emotional intelligence. Between endogenous latent variable and the indicator of attachment style, the path coefficients were respectively 0.60 & 0.32, between endogenous latent 0.41, 0.45 & 0.94, and between the latent variable of indigenous social sill and the indicator the path coefficients were sportively 0.35, 0.50, 0.90 & 0.85. It can be said that and all the causal paths were significant.Conclusion: Considering the importance and necessity of children social skills and its effects on children’s life, recognizing environmental factors such as attachment style and individual factors such as emotional intelligence can finally lead to a deeper recognition of factors affecting the transformation of children’s social skills in order to present suitable methods.

Abstract: 

Child REARING which includes the popular method for educating children by parents, plays an important role in the way of development and formation of child's personality. In western countries many researches have been conducted on the different methods and consequences of child REARING. Based on theses researches four methods of child REARING are recognized as follows: Powerfully Child REARING, Autocratic Child REARING, Easy taking Child REARING and Tolerantly Child REARING.This classification is based on parents' responses and requests.In Islamic sources and narrations we face with the child REARING methods based on Shia Imams'. The responsibility of child REARING belongs to the parent based on Islamic view and in this way they should use the best methods.Each method of child REARING relates to some special behavior in children.For example self respect, school progress and social efficiency are among the characters which are related to powerfully child REARING. As another example, behavior disorders and depression are among the characters which are related to tolerantly child REARING. The present article is to have a comparative study on child REARING methods in western countries from the viewpoint of Islamic scholars so through the article different methods of child REARING and their effects on parent- children relation are characterized and explained.

Abstract: 

The present study was conducted by examining the views of relevant experts and their exposure to child labor in Shiraz. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and analyzed based on grounded theory. Ten axial categories and one core category were extracted from the coding process. The core category was developed under the title of "INSTITUTIONAL passivity and sectoralism". The results of the research showed that the causal conditions such as incompatibility and INSTITUTIONAL and managerial confusion, diversity of perspectives to the phenomenon of child labor and non-governmental organizations and indifference towards child labor has caused the emergence of this phenomenon. Intervening conditions include: negative representation and conflicting media activities, Inhibition of some domestic and international rules and laws and child labor of nationals and the problem of identification and identity. This central phenomenon is located in special conditions and contexts due to family pressure and starting the work process in childhood, child labor as an income generating industry, child labor as a source of financial support for the family and the unique opportunity for working children, and Shiraz's oppurtunities for immigrants. The type of encounter with working children in Shiraz has caused numerous consequences that can be seen Unreasonable increase of child labor of nationals, Failure to contain and control the problem of working children, lack of proper organization and social support of working children, Anonymity of working children and persuasion and encouragement of nationals to immigrate to Shiraz.
